Final Product of My Poster

1) This was the poster I designed. The poster was to show and let people know the importance of virescence and taking care of our environment. We must love and care for the environment or surroundings in our everyday life.

2) The two trees played an important role in the poster. Blue sky, white clouds and the prairie were the main points. The trees in the poster showed there was laughter because they lived in a healthy, clean and fresh place. The environment and the surroundings were well protected. Cutting down trees from the forests were strictly forbidden.

3) The main color of the poster was green. Green gave us the feel of peaceful and harmony. If we could protect the forest and prevent people from cutting down the trees as they liked, global warming would not be happened. All of us would live peacefully and joyfully.

4) The phrase that was written in red represented the sign of warning and bewares. It also gave us the signal that we must keep on protect and make our environment virescence.
The right part of the poster was made blur. This effectiveness was to give people a feeling that the trees were grown in heaven, a place of complete happiness. It showed that the trees which were under protection, growing healthy.

5) The logo in the poster showed the result of global warming, after deforestation. The comparison showed the simile that trees which were protected lived in heaven, while trees which were not protected lived in hell. This was to emphasize the importance of virescence our environment.

6) The Earth is our home. We must love and protect our home, so no more deforestation. We must make our environment to look “green” always. Let us protect and love our Earth, say NO to deforestation.

The Process

10) Finally, I put my logo at the bottom of the circle on the left side. My poster was done!

9) The upper part on the right hand side, I added a phrase "Protect And Love Our Earth, Say NO to Deforestation!" by using spiral tool. I used green and red to write those words.

8) I added a phrase "Do They Look Like They're Happy" in the banner by using type tool. The color of the pharase was red.

7) I added some red words on the left hand side by using type tool. There were big words above the circle. There were smaller words on the background and the words were repeating. The method that I used was copy and paste. I made the smaller words become blur. The phrase was "Virescence Our Environment!"

6) I added a banner beside the circle by using pen tool. I colored it light green.

5) I used brush to draw dry leaves on the ground on both sides. I made the picture on the right hand side blur. The opacity that I used was 80%.

4) I used pen tool, ellipse tool and brush to draw a big tree and a small tree each on both sides. Then, I colored the trees with green, red, black and brown. I used live paint bucket and gradient to do it.

3) Prairies were drawn on both sides. I used pen tool to draw the prairies. I colored the prairies green.

2) Secondly, a circle was added to the left side. I used ellipse tool to draw the circle. The circle was colored blue by using live paint bucket and gradient too.

1) First, I used ellipse tool to divide the background into 2 parts. The left side was colored light green while the right side was colored light blue by using live paint bucket and gradient. I made the background become blur.

Project Objectives:
Design a poster based on my topic, deforestation and to aware human so that we will always protect our Earth and environment. We should understand about the importance of taking care of the environment. Stop deforestation and love our Earth.


Approach:
My topic is deforestation, so i will draw a tree as the main charater. The tree is on a prairie under the beautiful sky. I will use the color that give us the harmony and peaceful feel like green, blue, and yellow. I will try to make my poster looks harmony so that people will feel comfortable when look at it. The message from my poster is we must always virescence our environment and protect our Earth. The tools that i will use in illustrator are pen tool, live paint bucket, gradient, and brush. I will also do some effect like blur on my poster to make it real.

Roles and Responsibilities:
I found some references about the poster from some books, magazines, internet and newspapers. After that, I sketched and start to draw the poster.
I posted the references and sketch of assignment 3 to the blog on 2nd September. I had finished my poster with adobe illustrator on 3rd September and I will upload my blog before 5th September. I will also print out my final product and desciption in A3 size and paste it on A2 size mounting board soon.

Comment:
I had learnt more about adobe illustrator when i was doing my assignment 3. I kept on pratising and used more tools and added more effects on my poster. But, I still can have a lot of improvement.

Sketch

This is my sketch. There are trees on a prairie under blue sky inside the circle. Next to the circle, there are trees too, which is the enlargement of the trees inside the circle. The words around is to promote awareness to people about the importance of taking care of the environment.

Statement and Idea

Statement:
Virescence Our Environment !
Do they look like they're happy ?
(Description: If we take care and virescence our environment, we can feel that the trees are happy because they are protected.)

Idea:
In assignment 3, I will draw a big tree and a little tree on a prairie under the blue sky. My idea is based on assignment 1. In my assignment 1, the logo shows the result of global warming. So, my assignment 3 is to show the importance of taking care of the trees so that it doesn't turn out like what i did in assignment 1.

References for assignment 3

I like the poster design and the poster design will be my refences in assignment 3. Trees, blue sky and prairie will be part of my poster.

Final Product

This is the final product of my assignment 2. There is a big tree and two little trees on a prairie under the blue sky. The trees here are protected. The environment is peaceful and harmony. The leaves rustle in the wind and fall onto the ground.
